Travel

Do I need a passport?
Yes, a passport is required to travel to Mexico. If you need to apply for a passport and renew your passport, you can do so HERE.

Note, Mexico requires your passport to be valid for a minimum of 6 months in order to enter the country. Should you need to renew your passport in a hurry due to this rule, you may do so by following the instructions found HERE.

How far is the resort from the airport?
The resort is approximately 30 minutes from Cancun International Airport.

Do I need to bring any pesos with me?
No, you do not need to bring any pesos. The resort accepts USD and all major credit cards.

Do I need to bring extra money for tips?
All gratuities are included in the price of your stay. However, should you feel that a resort employee or transportation agent went above and beyond for you gratuities are gladly accepted.

In what time zone is the resort located?
The resort is located in the Southeastern Time Zone, which is the equivalent of the Eastern Standard Time in the US.

Are there any extra costs that I should be aware of?
All meals, beverages (non-alcoholic and alcoholic), and non-motorized water sports are included in the price of your stay. Also, all taxes and gratuities are included in the price of your stay.

For an additional fee the following amenities and activities are available: Full-service spa and salon • Scuba diving, deep-sea fishing & private yacht excursions • Golf at Playa Mujeres Golf Club • Private tennis lessons • Laundry service • Medical facilities  

Is there wifi at the resort?
Yes, complimentary wifi is available to all guests.

Do I have to book a spa & salon appointment in advance?
No. However, we strongly recommend booking an appointment in advance to ensure availability. You'll find the menu of spa services HERE, and you may make a reservation HERE.

Should I be concerned with the water?
The resort provides its guests with unlimited bottled water. While the tap water in the rooms is potable, the resort recommends only drinking the bottled water provided.

I have allergies/dietary restrictions. Will that be a problem?
No. Each restaurant in the resort offers vegetarian and gluten-free options on its menu. If you have any allergies and/or dietary restrictions, please let us know so we can notify the banquet staff for your reception meal.

Do I need to bring extra money for tips?
All gratuities are included in the price of your stay. However, should you feel that a resort employee went above and beyond for you (which you likely will because the staff is amazing), gratuities are gladly accepted.

Do the restaurants have a dress code?
Yes, each restaurant has its own dress code depending upon the time of day. The dress codes range from casual informal, e.g., shorts, bermuda pants, sarongs, cover ups and t-shirts, to elegance, e.g., long dress pants and dress shirt for guys and long pants, capri pants, skirt, blouse, or dress for ladies. All of the restaurants require men to wear dress pants and closed toe shoes to dinner.
